Explore Pakistan

Hi, this is Danial Shah. I am a travel and landscape photographer based in Pakistan. I always wanted to experience real travel, wanted to know how a nomad experiences real adventures throughout his journey all alone and what hurdles does he face during his expeditions.

I was conferred with a trophy twice by Government of Sindh, Pakistan in year 2009 and 2010. Following that, I was also awarded with “Nishan-e-Azm” by Azm-e-Alishan in recognition of my contribution to the nation.

Since I am a nature lover so thrive for experiencing nature made me packed and I left for the Northern Areas of Pakistan, currently known as Gilgit-Baltistan. The place which is famous for its highest peaks in the world. I learnt how I can survive living alone, spending nights with no electricity, phone, mobile and outer world. Only mountains, snow peaks, bright shiny stars and the rivers.

Spending a month there in roof of the world made me realize how beautiful Pakistan is! Not only north, but landscapes of Balochistan, Hospitality of Pathans in Khyber, Green Farm Fields in Punjab, The Sufis shrines of Sindh, lush green valleys in Kashmir and a lot more. Its all Pakistan.

This Blog of mine is dedicated to only one thing : To portray the real beautiful image of Pakistan through my travels and photography. It shows that I am not unique, but it’s everyone out there who can make it.

So go on, spend a night under the roof of bright shiny stars in Cholistan, experience summer snow fall in Gilgit-Baltistan, listen to the beautiful sufi Qalams of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai at BhitShah, Sindh, check out farmers leaving for farm fields before sunrise in Punjab, experience mouth watering food in Balochistan. Simply go on and Explore Pakistan, its not just me but everyone of you out there who can make it.

I am always available for any kind of help you need in terms of traveling or photography.
