


Azme Alishan Celebrates Pakistani Heroes
Azme Alishan asks public to nominate everyday heroes for its 3rd Annual Azm Awards 2012.
Karachi,3rd February, 2012: Azme Alishan is proud to announce that the preparations for its 3rd annual Azm Awards are now underway. Last year, on March 23rd, Azme Alishan held the Azm Awards celebrating the achievements of Pakistanis from all walks of life who had positive achievements to inspire and encourage optimism in other Pakistanis. The Azm Awards, organised by “Pakistans fastest growing social movement,” Azme Alishan, were designed to celebrate the nations unsung heroes - ordinary Pakistanis who do extraordinary things to help others and promote a more positive image of the country around the world. The movement is turning its attention towards unsung heroes - people and organisations that make a difference in their communities every day through charitable or public spirited acts. Azme Alishan is asking the public to nominate people for these awards by going to the dedicated awards website www.azmealishan.com/awards.
Azme Alishan has created a strong platform for people to display their ability for a better and progressive change throughout the country. Thousands of people have endorsed the movement over the past year, while Azme Alishan also has the support of a number of celebrities and intellectuals. Amongst them include most notably, renowned internationally acclaimed musicians the Strings and Atif Aslam who have dedicated their song, “Ab Khud Kuch Karna Parey Ga” to Azme Alishan as an anthem to inspire fellow Pakistanis to make a difference for their country. The song is a wake-up call to all Pakistanis for a dynamic change for a better Pakistan.
Azme Alishan has already started receiving nominations for its 3rd Azm Awards, with a list of candidates who have displayed tenacity in their respective fields to benefit Pakistan and portray Pakistan as a land of hope and opportunity despite the many looming adversities. Azme Alishan asks the general public for nominations for those who are worthy to be recognized for their efforts in promoting positive change. These nominations can be of Pakistanis living within the country or abroad, with the awards designed particularly to celebrate the unsung heroes of Pakistan.
