The Citizens Foundation (TCF)

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) was set up as a means to improve the dismal state of the educational system in Pakistan and is now one of the leading organizations in the field of formal education. Since it was founded in 1995, it has run a professionally managed network of 730 purpose-built school units in the underprivileged neighborhoods nationwide for approximately 102,000 students. It also has a committed Teacher Training Center in Karachi for the ongoing training of its faculty and provides logistical support to its entire staff; creating more than 8000 jobs in communities in which it operates. Furthermore,in the recent floods, the Citizens Foundation immensely contributed to the Flood Relief efforts with successfully distributing twenty million meals to the victims before Eid in twenty five cities of Pakistan with nationwide and overseas support.
